Acid-resistant brick has excellent corrosion resistance to organic and inorganic acids except hydrofluoric acid, with good strength and wear resistance.
It is used in acid-atmosphere flues, in autoclaves and recovery pots of the acid-process papermaking industry, and in large acid-resistant tanks and storage tanks.
