Alkali-resistant brick with high strength and good volume stability that forms a high-viscosity glass phase on contact with alkali to block alkaline slag, in ordinary, high-strength, arch and lightweight types.

Product overview

Alkali-resistant brick has high strength, good volume stability and good resistance to alkali attack. In use it reacts with alkali to form a high-viscosity glass phase that prevents alkaline slag from penetrating, and it has good corrosion resistance to metallurgical slag and cement clinker.

Ordinary (PT), high-strength (HS), arch (DT) and lightweight (LW) types are specified.
