Refractory ball has a strong heat storage capacity. It withstands high temperature, has high crushing strength and a high refractoriness under load, good spalling resistance, good thermal shock resistance and excellent creep resistance.

Five material types are specified with bulk density, stacking density, specific surface area and reference thermal values.
