Product overview
High zirconia brick consists of a baddeleyite (monoclinic ZrO₂) phase with a small amount of matrix glass phase. It has extremely high corrosion resistance, an extremely low blistering rate and stoning rate, and hardly contaminates molten glass.
It is used mainly for glass furnace walls, bottoms, throats, electrode blocks and sills.
Key characteristics
- Baddeleyite phase with minimal glass matrix
- Extremely high corrosion resistance
- Extremely low blistering and stoning rates
- Almost no contamination of molten glass
