Product overview

Al₂O₃-SiC-C castable has strong resistance to molten iron, to slag erosion and to scouring, together with good thermal shock resistance and good oxidation resistance. It is easy to install and can be baked quickly without bursting.

It does not stick to iron and slag in use and has a long service life. Values are specified for the main iron runner (slag line and iron line), the branch iron runner and the slag runner.
