Sliding Plate
Slide gate plates in alumina–carbon and alumina–zirconia–carbon materials, with high refractoriness, good chemical stability, resistance to slag and molten metal, and good oxidation and spalling resistance.
- Grades / types
- 7 grades, HBLT80 to HBMLT80
- Specification tables
- 2: Alumina carbon sliding plate; Alumina zirconia carbon sliding plate
Product overview
The mainstream sliding plate materials are alumina–carbon and alumina–zirconia–carbon; the requirements of special steel grades have driven a diversified range. Sliding plate brick has high refractoriness, good chemical stability, resistance to slag and molten metal corrosion, and good oxidation and spalling resistance.
Values are given for non-impregnated and impregnated plates.
