Silicon Carbide Heating Element
Rod-shaped non-metallic high-temperature heating element made from green silicon carbide by blank forming, high-temperature silicification and recrystallization, for electric furnaces and other electric heating equipment.

- Rod-shaped element
Product overview
Silicon carbide heating elements are made from high-quality green silicon carbide as the main raw material. The material is processed into blanks and then silicified and recrystallized at high temperature to form rod-shaped, non-metallic high-temperature heating elements.
Compared with metal heating elements, the source describes a high operating temperature, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, minimal deformation and convenient installation and maintenance.
The elements are used in high-temperature electric furnaces and other electric heating equipment — tunnel kilns, glass kilns, vacuum furnaces, muffle furnaces and smelting furnaces — across the magnetic materials, powder metallurgy, ceramics, glass, metallurgy and machinery industries.
